Zerks Log 02

Here is another episode of 'Zerks Log,' the premier project from StoryForge Labs.

You can see 'Zerks Log,' in its entirely, at www.Zerkslog.com, where you can watch in high quality, subscribe to it on iTunes and see some behind the scenes material. Feel free if you want to skip ahead and watch all episodes.

Notes: The term 'Michael Scott in Space' was mentioned when first describing how Capt. Zerks should come off as during this series. The idea was the ape the intimacy of the American version of 'The Office' in order for the viewer to see both the character's flaws but still have Zerks sympathetic to where we, the viewer, wants to see him succeed. Through the revisions, Patty Pino and I did our best to make Zerks his own character so someone couldn't say 'Oh, he's just Michael Scott in space' as an insult.

In this episode, Patty did a good job displaying Zerks' attitude towards both the captain's position as well as his subordinates. Zerks waxes poetic about the 'king's position' and introduces the dropulunc (accurate spelling pending.)
