Tortoise/Turtle

He was about the size of a pug or a pug-sized chubby cat.

Turtle/Tortoise

When first sighted, this turtle/tortoise was in the middle of the road. Five minutes later, he was twenty feet away in the shady hallway of another condo.

He's a little spooked here. Dad had gloves with him to pick the guy up but the size of the beak made us rethink it.
